– Avoid exposing yourself to excessive heat, which includes hot showers, saunas, the hot sun, or cooking over a hot stove or oven. This is because the heat can cause the blood vessels to dilate and cause more bruising and bleeding to occur.

– Avoid any strenuous workouts or exercises after the treatment. This is due to the blood pressure rising as well as your pulse, which can cause severe swelling and bruising.

– Avoid being in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. If necessary, then wear sunblock and a hat to protect your skin. Sunlight can cause permanent discoloration to the treated areas after bruising.

– Avoid consuming any alcohol for a minimum of 24 hours after treatment. Alcohol can cause the blood vessels to dilate and cause more bruising.

– If your lips have been treated, avoid drinking from a straw for up to 2 weeks post-treatment.

– We recommend you do not get any massages in the area of treatment or put your face in the massage cradle for a minimum of 2 weeks post-treatment.

– Avoid taking any Vitamin E, Advil, Ginger, Bilboa, Ginseng, Ginkgo, and Garlic for a minimum of 2 weeks post-treatment, as this can increase your risk of bruising. You can shower and do other regular daily activities that do not cause stress on the body.

– Do not apply any make-up to the face or body for up to 24 hours post-treatment.
